REINOEHL, William H.

The Arizona Republic October 21, 2010 William H. Reinoehl, age 70, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2010. Born August 1, 1940 in Lebanon, Pennsylvania to Henry and Mary (Houser) Reinoehl. Bill spent his youth in Lebanon and York, Pennsylvania. In 1958 Bill graduated high school and immediately joined the United States Navy where he was stationed in Hawaii. After leaving the Navy he went on to embark on a successful career that would span over the next 40 years in the aviation field. His jobs took him to Sweden, Canada, Australia and to various states in the U.S. During time spent in New York, Bill met his future wife Shirley. In 1975 a job opportunity took Bill to Arizona and despite brief times spent away due to business and a lot of recreational traveling, Arizona became home for Bill and his family, which expanded to include a daughter, Jennifer. Bill is survived by his wife, Shirley, and his daughter, Jennifer, as well as three brothers, Joseph Reinoehl, Thomas Reinoehl, and Timothy Reinoehl; and three sisters, Kathryn Kibbey, Margaret Cooke and Jean Stolarski. He is preceded in death by his parents and his older sister, Mary Dellinger. As per Bill's wishes, there was no funeral or service. Instead he invited those who loved and knew him to remember him as he was, generous with a laugh or smile, quick with his wit and always with a story to tell. He is greatly loved by his family and will be deeply missed.
