SMITH, Garry Meloy

Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona, Tuesday, February 17, 2017 Garry Meloy Smith passed away on Feb. 9, 2015. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Richard and Mildred Smith. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 56 years, Darlene Smith; his sister, Carolyn Dalley; and three nephews. He has three daughters, Barbara (David) Elack, Pam (John) Angal, and Ginger Lavin. He leaves behind nine grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. Garry served in the United States Army in Korea during the Korean War. He worked for Inspiration Consolidated Mine Company, Gila County in the Maintenance Shop and Action Pawn. Some of his hobbies included racing cars at the Globe-Miami Speedway in Wheatfields, hunting and fishing and generally enjoyed being outdoors. Garry was a good husband, and a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
