PEASE, JR., William Patrick


Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona, Tuesday, February 17, 2015 Master Sgt. William Patrick Pease, Jr. passed away at the Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center on Jan. 4, 2015. He was 59 years old. William had been a resident of Globe since 2004. He is preceded in death by his father, William; mother and stepfather, Dorothy and Walt Hutcherson; and brother, Rocky. William was born on Dec. 5, 1956 in Lancaster Calif. In 1963 the family moved to Lomita, California, where William graduated from Narbonne High School in 1975. In 1976, William enlisted in the United States Army and was assigned to Germany. After separating from the U.S. Army in 1980, William enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, where he attained the rank of Master Sgt. before retiring in 1998. When he retired, he was the Deputy Director of the Travis AFB Family Support Center. While in the U.S. Air Force, he also met his longtime companion, Karen Fox, of Globe, Ariz. William moved to Arizona in 2004, where he fell in love with the Arizona deserts. He loved fishing and hiking the local area with Karen and his dog, Cody. William is survived by his sister, Regina (Robert) Redwine; daughter, Crystal Kuhlmey; stepson, Joshua Foster; daughter, Stacie Pease; son, Ryan Pease; and Karen’s daughter, Jessica Fox. He is also survived by grandsons, Mathew and Austin Kuhlmey, and Julius Foster and Karen’s grandchildren, Liam and Aislyn Alexander, Callan and Declan Philpot. He is also survived by nephew, Jeffery Redwine; and nieces, Jennifer Redwine and Jessica Rushworth. Interment will be at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 20 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix Ariz. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Fraternal Order of Police building, 5598 Old Oak St. in Claypool, starting at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21.
