Violet Diehl, 89, died peacefully Sunday, Feb. 8, 2015, at her home.

Violet made her home in Snowflake for the last 19 years. She enjoyed long walks around the hills of Snowflake, many of those with her comforting dog and companion. She will be remembered for her loving heart and years of service.

Violet was a big fan of the Arizona Diamondbacks. She loved to read, and over several years read hundreds of books. Violet was very smart and spoke with such eloquence. She had a wonderful sense of humor and will be dearly missed.
