Wickenburg Sun (Wickenburg AZ) Wednesday, February 4, 2015, p A-8 Funeral mass was held last week for Alice Bischoff, 93, at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Gallup, NM. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park. Bischoff died Jan 26, 2015, in Scottsdale. She was born Dec 12, 1921, in Gallup. Bischoff was raised in Chinle, attended high school in Waterflow and attended St Mary's College in Owensboro, Ky. She married Harold Bischoff in 1942 and moved to Gallup and was a member of Sacred Heart Cathedral. She also lived in Wickenburg for a time and was a member of St Anthony of Padua Parish. She enjoyed family and was a devoted wife and mother, strong in the faith. Survivors include her sons Anselm Bischoff of Scottsdale, Edward Thomas and David Bischoff both of Gallup, and Gerald Bischoff of Albuquerque; daughters Anita Dossey of Houston, Texas, Theresa Murry and Loretta Baciao, both of Scottsdale, Georgiana Thomas of New York City, and Henrietta Gilmore of Milford, NJ; sister Cleo Giersch of Albuquerque; 33 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents Camillo and Pauline Coriz Garcia; husband Harold Bischoff; brother Able Garcia; and sisters Margaret Delaney, Mary Inez Barraza and Regina McGuire.
