FLORES, Carlos (Charlie) Samuel

Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona, Tuesday, February 24, 2015 Carlos ‘Charlie’ Samuel Flores, born Nov. 2, 1933, ascended into heaven on Feb. 18, 2015 at the age of 81. Born in Miami, Ariz., he was the son of Aurelio and Rosa Flores. He worked as a carpenter by trade all his life. He enjoyed a variety of hobbies. Most important was his family. He served his country proudly in the Air force. He is survived by Delfina Flores, mother of his children; Elizabeth Ann Mata of Claypool, Ariz., Genevieve R.M. Roten, Monica D. Allen, and Charlene F. Becker of Globe; 10 grand children and 11 great-grand children; sister, Josephine Williams; brothers, Joe Flores of Globe, Lupito Flores, and John Richard Flores both of Las Cruzes, New Mexico. Preceded in death by father, Aurelio Flores; mother, Rosa Flores; daughter, Francine Flores; and brothers and sisters, Raymond Flores, Rosita Lopez, Aurelio “AJ” Flores, Teresa Runyan, Narda Arellano, Stella Vargas, Gilbert Flores, Alberto Flores, Dolores “Lola” Flores and Maria Martinez. Carlos “Charlie” Flores services will be held on Feb. 28, 2015 at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church in Miami, Arizona. Visitation 9-9:30 a.m, Rosary 9:30 a.m., Mass 10 a.m.
