The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Thursday, February 26, 2015 Peggy Smith, 70, of Cordes Lakes, Arizona, passed away Jan. 5, 2015 in Phoenix, Arizona. Peggy was born on May 5, 1944 in Childress Texas. She graduated from Eureka Senior High School in 1962. She was predeceased by her husband Paul Smith; her father Vernon Rosenburg; her mother Juanita Marsh; her sister Junie Lee Rosenburg. Peggy is survived by her son Daniel (Amanda) Moore; grandchildren Autumn and Danny Moore of Cordes Lakes, Arizona; son Dean Moore of Sacramento, California; daughter Mollie (JR) Wilson of Prescott, Arizona; sister Vanita June (Richard) Boman of Maryville, Tennessee; Brother Vernon Leon (Debbie) Rosenburg of Eureka, California; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Each one that have so many special memories. Peggy was happiest when she was spending time going to Bingo, quilting, crocheting, putting puzzles together, making jewelry, going to the Mayer Elders Club to spend time with friends and talking to her family and friends on the phone. She was the best German Chocolate Cake, Lemon Meringue pie and cinnamon roll maker (just to name a few of her specialties). Peggy knew no stranger and she was a loving friend to so many. She will be truly missed. Please join us in a celebration of Peggy's life at a memorial service at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 1, 2015, at the Cordes Lakes Community Center, 16357 S. Cordes Lakes Drive, Cordes Lakes, Arizona. There will be a potluck and a couple games of Bingo following the service. Information provided by survivors.
