PALMER, Dewayne Max (boy)


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 03/06/2015 Dewayne Max “Boy” Palmer, also known to friends as “Abaloo,” went home peacefully March 2, 2015, to his heavenly Father. He was born July 19, 1973. Dewayne “Boy” was raised by his mother, Ingrid A. Palmer. He is also survived by his sisters, Rebecca A. Johnson and Debbie P. Anderson; children Shantell, Kit Duane, Ikea and Dentara Palmer; one brother Ferguson Palmer. He also leaves behind his aunties, Mable Boni and Evelyn Antonio; two brothers-in-law, Reno Johnson Jr. and Derrick Anderson; five nephews, Pvt. Denzal Palmer, who is stationed in Washington, Dee Andre, Dirk Anderson, Dres Anderson and Antonio Roy James; four nieces, Rena Joy Johnson, Raysha Johnson, Raekale Johnson and Deiaih Anderson; and many, many relatives and friends near and far. Dewayne enjoyed team roping, hunting, fishing and cutting wood. He loved family gatherings and to cook. His favorite Bible verse was “And his name shall be called wonderful, counselor for the mighty God. The Everlasting father, the prince of peace.” Isaiah 9:6 He will be brought back at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 7, to his residence, 5006 S. Sunflower Ave., in Canyon Day. The family of Dewayne Palmer are asking if cowboys, friends and family would escort him from the Canyon Day cattle guard to his home. His colors are blue and silver. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 9, at the Canyon Day Assembly of God Church with Pastor Marvin Begay officiating. Dewayne will be laid to rest at the Canyon Day Cemetery.
