Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona, Tuesday, March 10, 2015 Nadine Madrid Sierra, 63 Nadine was born Jan. 9, 1952 to Edmund (Mundy) and Mary Madrid in Maywood, Calif. Nadine graduated from El Rancho High School, then assisted with the family business started by her parents, called Olympic Quilting. Nadine married her husband, Albert Sierra of Miami, Ariz. and they both made their home in Gilbert, Ariz. Their miracle came years later with the birth of their son, Ryan Sierra. Nadine was a devoted wife and mother, and although she worked most of her life, she always found time for family, whether it was her parents, sister, brother, nieces and nephews or extended family. Nadine will be remembered for her smile, loving all whom she met, and her great sense of decoration and style. Nadine fought ALS with a courageous and unrelenting spirit. Nadine rested with our Lord on Feb. 28, 2015. Nadine is survived by her husband, Albert Sierra; son, Ryan Sierra; mother, Mary Madrid; sister, Annie Diaz and brother Ernie Madrid, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Nadine will be laid to rest on March 14, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Mariposa Gardens on Power and Broadway in Mesa, Ariz.
