Rose J. Gunder, 81, of Prescott Valley, Arizona, passed away on March 4, 2015.
Rose joined the Army (WAC) at the age of 18 and served during the Korean Conflict from 1951 through 1953. She earned the rank of corporal. She was stationed at what is now known as the Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Colorado. She went to work for Sperry Flight Systems in 1958 in Phoenix, which later became Honeywell. She retired from there in 1990 and moved to Prescott Valley where she has since lived.
She is survived by her brothers Gary and Ken Gunder (Pam); many nieces, nephews, beloved friends; and her precious dog Max.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary, 200 W. Beardsley Road, Phoenix, Arizona.
