NEWTON, Kathleey (Kay)

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Friday, March 13, 2015 Kathleen "Kay" Newton, formerly of Prescott, passed away March 7, 2015 in Tucson. Born in 1922, Kay was a Vermonter all her life until moving to Prescott with her husband, Fred, in 1988. He predeceased her in 2011. She is survived by her son and his wife, Paul and Judy Newton of Tucson; a daughter and her husband, Eileen and Ronald Maniaci of Atlanta, Georgia; grandsons Michael and Peter; and four great grandsons. A longtime member of the First Christian Church, Kay enjoyed her friends, working in the garden and birding. Fred served as a pilot in WWII. Their lifelong watchword: mizpah. Interment will be alongside Fred at the Prescott National Cemetery. Information provided by survivors.
