George W. Koepke, 89, passed away March 9, 2015 in Prescott, Arizona.
Born in Chicago on Aug. 12, 1925, George served in the WWII Army Air Corps as a B-29 Gunner, 73BW and 499BG. He moved to Arizona in 1957 to work for Motorola. After his retirement in 1987, he and his wife Evelyn moved to Prescott where he enjoyed volunteering at the VA hospital and Yavapai Regional Medical Center.
George will be greatly missed by his wife Evelyn of 68 years; sons, George, Greg (Christine), Gary (Deborah) and Grant (Debbie); 12 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of George's Life will be at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at American Lutheran Church, 1085 Scott Drive, Prescott, AZ 86301. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Honor Flight Arizona (honorflightaz.org), YRMC Volunteer Services (yrmc.org) or American Lutheran Church.
