Wickenburg Funeral Home & Crematory, Wickenburg, Arizona Michael David Mayerhofer April 6, 1958 - March 13, 2015 The family of Michael “Mick or Mike” David Mayerhofer sadly announces his passing on Friday March 13th, 2015. Mike was born on April 6th, 1958 in Chicago, Il. Mike is a 37 year resident of Arizona, residing 20 of those years in Wickenburg, Az. Mike leaves behind five children; Erik Mayerhofer, Dominic Formica, Joseph Mayerhofer, Mikayla Mayerhofer and Tarah Mayerhofer, two children in law Josh Thompson and Crystal Mayerhofer, and four grandchildren; Koen Thompson, Cason Thompson, Benjamin Mayerhofer and another baby Mayerhofer who is on the way. Mike was born into a family of five children: Janis, Don, Bob and Larry Mayerhofer. Mike is remembered for his humor, loving heart, raspy voice, goofiness and inspiration to many. Mike will be remembered by many within the 12 step program for his dedication and his leadership. Mike joined the Carpenters Union in 1978 passing on his many skills to his loved ones. A viewing for the public will be held at Wickenburg Funeral Home on Thursday March 19th, 2015 from 7:00-9:00pm. The Celebration of Life will be held at Coffinger Park Ramada on Friday March 20th at 3:00pm. The Celebration of life will include wiffle ball, food and laughter.
