Gail Elizabeth Sime, 61, of Chino Valley, Arizona, passed away on Jan. 16, 2015. Gail was born in Champagne, Illinois on Oct. 4, 1953, and moved to Arizona in the '80s.
She was a long time resident of Chino Valley, Arizona. She was a cherished member of her community and active member of her church. She loved her job as a bus driver for the school district and was also employed at Safeway for many years. She had a contagious smile and laugh, loved to help others, as well as an overwhelming love for animals.
Her father John Sime preceded her in death. She is survived by her mother, Eloise Sime of California; brothers, Bob Sime of Texas and Jim Sime of California; sister Jean (Randy) Gilbert of California; daughters Brenda (Don) Hussen of Colorado and Melissa Rafferty of Okinawa; four nieces; two nephews; and three grandchildren.
Her ashes will be scattered at sea by her family. A memorial service will take place at 5 p.m. on Monday, April 20, 2015, at the First Southern Baptist Church on Highway 89 in Chino Valley, Arizona.
