Vistoso Funeral Home, Oro Valley, Arizona Frederick Kerr July 11, 1936 - March 10, 2015 Frederick H. Kerr, 78, of Oro Valley, Arizona passed away March 10, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; daughter Linda (Larry) Warnick; and 2 grandchildren: Cody and Christopher. Fred graduated from Perry High School in 1954. He went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Penn State University in 1958 and a Masters Degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1961. He also received an honorary doctorate degree on May 5, 1996 from The Lutheran College of Health Professions. Fred was employed as a hospital administrator for numerous hospitals during his career including St. Lukes Hospital, Maumee, Ohio and Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana. He had many interests including chess, photography, golf, wine, and he loved to travel. Fred also enjoyed his time with family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 am, Friday March 20, 2015 at Resurrection Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimers Association - www.alz.org
