CONNOLLY-ARRINGTON, Amy

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 03/27/2015 Amy Connolly-Arrington, 87, died Friday, March 20, 2015, in Peoria with her loving daughter, Carol, by her side. She was born April 28, 1926, in Eagar to David and Polly Estella Bigelow. Amy is survived by her brothers, Evan Bigelow and Thirl Bigelow; sons Nolan Connolly (Denine), Ivan Connolly (Cynthia) and David Connolly; daughters Carol (Bill) West and Shirley (Linden) Nelson; and 19 grandchildren and 54 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Noah Connolly and Hershal Arrington, brother Wilford Bigelow and sister Emily Waite. Amy was a quite woman with a great determination; if she wanted to do something, she would. She was an avid gardener of fruits and vegetables and would always share with all. She also loved plants and flowers, especially roses. She was a devoted, loving and caring mother and dearly loved all her family and loved being around them. She served on a mission in 1991 at the Salt Lake City Family Mission. Services will be held at 1 a.m. Saturday, March 28, at the Amity Ward, Schoolbus Road Chapel. Visitation will begin at 12 p.m.
