Vining Funeral Home, Safford, Arizona Odilia Rodriguez December 15, 1927 - March 21, 2015 Odilia Rodriguez, of Tucson and formerly of Morenci, went to be with our Heavenly Father Saturday evening, March 21, 2015, at her residence. She was 87. Odilia was born on December 15, 1927, in Aragon, New Mexico, to Juan and Sophia Rodriguez. She was the oldest of twelve brothers and sisters. In 1945, Odilia moved to Morenci where she raised nine children. Odilia is survived by: eight children; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Odilia was preceded in death by: her parents; and one son. A Mass of Christian Burial for Odilia will be celebrated Friday morning, March 27, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., at Holy Cross Catholic Church by Rev. Martin Atange-Baabuge. Committal will follow in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. A Rosary will be prayed Friday morning, March 27, 2015, at 10:00 a.m., at Holy Cross Catholic Church. The family will receive friends Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., also at the church.
