Vining Funeral Home, Safford, Arizona Ronald B. Hansen September 5, 1936 - March 21, 2015 Ronald Hansen, age 78, of Safford, entered into eternal rest Saturday morning, March 21, 2015, at the Mount Graham Regional Medical Center. Ron was born September 5, 1936, in Luck, Wisconsin, to Benjamin and Martha Hansen. Ron was a great husband, father and community leader. He was a long time member of the Lions Club, Southeastern Arizona Family Fishing Club and respected local businessman in the freight delivery service for many years. Ron will truly be missed by many. Ron is survived by: his wife, Karin Hansen; his son, Rick Hansen (Marsha), all of Safford; his brothers, Jim, Bob and David Hansen; his sister, Mary; his four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren who loved him dearly. Ron was preceded in death by: his parents, Bennie and Martha Hansen; and his brother, Leroy “Bud” Hansen. Funeral services for Ron will be conducted Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at 2:00 p.m., at Vining Funeral Home’s “Chapel of the Valley.” Concluding services, with military honors being conferred by the Gila Valley Veterans’ Honor Guard, will follow in the Safford Cemetery.
