Brian James Law, 45, of Camp Verde died April 8. He was born Sept. 28, 1963 in Cottonwood, the son of James Edward Law and Rhoda Newton Law.
He graduated from Camp Verde schools. Brian was working as a gaming technician. He was recognized for his athletic abilities in basketball, football and track.
His family will remember him as a beloved son, brother, father and uncle.
A brother Phillip Law preceded him in death.
Brian leaves daughters, Karen Lynn Law, and Diona James, both of Prescott, Veronica James of Clarkdale; a brother, Darrel Law (Kerry) of Mena, Ark.; sisters, Susan Periera (Jerry), Vivian Phelps (Wayne), both of of Camp Verde and Karen Zavala (Jesse) of Mesa; nieces and nephews, Leanne, Naomi, Sara, Bud, Matasi, Toby, Brittany, Payson and McKenna; cousins, Harold Newton (Darlene) of Camp Verde and Linda & Lambert Leon; and 10 grandchildren.
A public visitation will be held Monday April 13 from 5-7 p.m. at the Old Rock Church at the Yavapai-Apache, Middle Verde Tribal Nation.
A private graveside service will be held at the Yavapai-Apache Nation Cemetery.
