REED, Daniel (Dan) Allen

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Thursday, April 02, 2015 Daniel Allen Reed, 65, of Prescott, Arizona, passed away on March 25, 2015 after valiantly battling a number of medical issues. A Celebration of Dan's life will be at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2015, at the Alliance Bible Church in Prescott, Arizona and will be officiated by Pastor John Perry. Dan was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1950. He graduated from Port Hueneme High School in California and served his country in the United States Air Force for over four years including a station overseas in Turkey. After his military service, he chose the banking field as his career and worked for over 40 years in California, New Mexico and Arizona, specializing in management and commercial lending at the Vice President level. Dan enjoyed sports, movies, Bible study, nature and the outdoors, and loved spending time with his wife, family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Linda; his daughter Andrea Reed-Myers and her husband Jason; son Jason Reed and his wife Andie; stepdaughters Hilarie McCoy and her husband John and Tianna VandenBerg; brothers Bruce Reed and wife Linda and Steve Reed and wife Wendie; along with seven grandchildren, Jack, Hannah, Elisha, Addison, Gavin, Michael and Jeremiah; and a number of nieces and nephews. Dan is preceded in death by his parents, Ludlow and Leona Reed as well as his brother Gary Reed. Dan will now be watching over the family he loves, from heaven. Information provided by survivors.
