Nancy Lee Bolger, 62, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2015 at her home in Prescott, Arizona. Nancy was born Oct. 30, 1952, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of John and Frances Bailey.
Nancy lived briefly in Washington, but was raised in the California Bay Area with her sisters, Virginia and Patricia. She worked in loss prevention for many years, before becoming a mother. She loved to travel, and visited many places in her life.
In April of 2000, Nancy married the love of her life, Timothy.
Together, they owned two businesses and accomplished Nancy's dream of owning a ranch. Nancy loved horses and had been riding since she was a young girl. She lived on a ranch with her husband, three horses, dog and cat. During her brief time working in education, she connected with many students and remained connected with them even after they graduated.
Nancy made friends everywhere that she went in life, and touched the lives of many people. It was rare for her to be in public and not run into a friend.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 15 years, Timothy; her two sons, Nicholas and Michael Sischka; and her sister, Patricia McCarthy.
There will be a Celebration of Life beginning at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2015, at the Prescott Rodeo Grounds Rock House.
To honor her love of animals, donations in memory of Nancy can be made to the Yavapai Humane Society, 1625 Sundog Ranch Road, Prescott, AZ 86301.
