Theodore (Teddy) Stunger of Cottonwood died peacefully on March 20, 2015. He was born in Newark, N.J. December 12,1925.
Ted lived in New Jersey before retiring to Arizona. He sold insurance for Washington Mutual but switched careers to become a business owner of a Deli and Liquor store in Winfield N.J.
Upon retiring he moved to Cornville, AZ. He then moved to Pine Shadows in Cottonwood and kept active by attending the different functions along with swimming and cooking.
Ted was well known by his family and friends for his annual Christmas party and birthday celebration held at his home.Ted had a zest for life and deeply loved his family.
He was preceeded in death in 2010 by his wife Marion whom he was married to for 61 years.
He leaves behind his daughters: Loni Synkowski (Bill), Pamela Murphy (John), Valerie Ogden (Ray) 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life is planned for April 24 at the Pine Shadows Clubhouse per Ted's wishes.
