Lamont Mortuary of Globe, Globe, Arizona Marvin Dale Pelfrey U.S. Veteran Marvin Dale Pelfrey, age 67, passed away on Friday, March 26, 2015 at his residence in Globe, AZ He was born in Miami, AZ on November 23,1947, the son of Marvin and Nancy (Thompson) Pelfrey. Marvin served his country proudly during the Vietnam war. He was born on Nov. 23, 1947 in Miami, Ariz. to Marvin and Nancy Pelfrey. Dale went to school in Miami, graduating in 1965. He attended the University of Arizona. He was a Vietnam veteran, having served with the U.S. Navy. He worked as a carpenter for different companies. Dale loved his music and loved to dance and watch NASCAR and sports. He is survived by his son, Matthew Pelfrey; sister, LaDonna Cauthron; niece, Rayna Philbrick; nephew, Randy Cauthron; sister-in-law, Carolina Pelfrey; nephews, Brian and Mark Pelfrey and many great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Marvin and Nancy Pelfrey; stepmother, Ione Pelfrey and brother, Manuel Pelfrey. Dale had many friends and a memorial will be announced.
