STRANGE, Barbara (Barb) Ann

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona Wednesday, April 08, 2015 Barbara Ann Strange, 82, of Wickenburg died March 26, 2015, in Surprise. She was born Aug. 21, 1932, in Denver, to Frank Edward Phillips and Marjorie Enace Phillips. After many years living and working in Colorado, Barb and her husband Leonard moved to Wickenburg. They made many friends there, and enjoyed the camaraderie of the locals, particularly at the Wickenburg Dog Park. They liked to explore the surrounding areas and loved the Desert Caballeros Western Museum. She was preceded in death by her parents; son Nick Strange; and husband Leonard “Gene” Strange. She is survived by her son Joseph (Heather) Strange; and siblings Donald, Hugh, Brian, Judi and David Phillips. Barb touched many lives with her ready smile, hard work and great wit. She will be forever remembered as a great mom and a beloved sister. A memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Wickenburg.
