(September 3, 1925 - April 5, 2015)
Gertrude Bessie (Graham) LaRose was held in the hearts of her loved ones on April 5, 2015 as she quietly “walked” into her new life. She lived about 20 miles east of Snowflake for over 30 years where she was known by few, but loved by many.
She leaves behind her sons Ed, who watched over her for over 20 years, son Don, who cared for her for nearly 2 years before she moved into WEBB’S Adult Care Home in Snowflake, and Duncan. She also leaves behind her daughter Ascyna Talking-Raven (Shirley), sisters Loretta Kurkeberg of Phoenix, Arizona, and Pearl Jones of Donaldson, Arkansas along with 13 grandchildren and almost 100 great and great great grandchildren.
She is embraced by her beloveds who preceded her: Parents Sam and Ruby Graham, Beloved Husband Ed (Bud), Brothers Cecil and Mack, son Richard and daughter Marlene.
A memorial service is planned for May 12th.
