Joan M. Quattlander a 13-year resident of Carol Stream Joan M. Quattlander (nee Hoff), 83, passed away at home on Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012. She was born Feb. 27, 1929, in Chicago, where she was also raised. She was a former resident of Lombard, and Chino Valley, AZ.
She is survived by her daughters, Carole Anne Quattlander, June (David) Bollweg, Diane (James) Strother and Karen Quattlander; her grandchildren, Christopher (Patricia), Bryan (Dawn) and Jeremy Martin, Mark (Gina) Chitty Jr., Daniel Bollweg, and Quentin and Chelsea Strother; and a sister, Sr. Mary Alice Hoff, OP.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernie of 47 years; a son, Jimmy Quattlander; and a daughter, Mary Rita Martin.
Memorial visitation will be Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the memorial Mass at 10:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church, 1415 Lies Road, Carol Stream, IL 60188.
Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Adrian Dominican Sisters, 1257 E. Siena Heights Drive, Adrian, MI 49221.
