The Eastern Arizona Courier, Safford, Arizona ~ April 11, 2015 David Wayne Brown, born Oct. 10, 1974, in Safford, to Gordon and Karen Brown, returned home to be with his Father in Heaven on March 30, 2015. David is survived by: his wife, Kathleen (Katie); daughters, Naomi and Kaylee; his unborn child; parents, Gordon and Karen; grandfather, J. Ellsworth Brown; siblings, Shawna Kugler (James), Darren Brown (Kim) and Lecia Watson (Jordan); and many other extended family members. David was salutatorian of his graduating class from Safford High School and went on to graduate magna cum laude from Arizona State University in 1999. David was a loving husband and father, and active in his church community. He served as a missionary for his church in Tacoma, Wash. He was a kind and gentle man, and will be missed and loved by all who were privileged to know him. The service will be held Saturday, April 11, 2015, at the Katy Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, at 1603 Norwalk Dr., Katy, Texas 77450. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 2:30. He will be interred at the Katy Magnolia Cemetery.
