Arizona Obituary and Death Notice Archive - Page 60 Posted By: GenLookups Date: Monday, 11 November 2013, at 1:35 a Anita Joy Reidhead Barr Anita Joy Reidhead was born June 24, 1936, in Durango, Colo., to Earnest Bruce Reidhead and Martha Luceal Davis. Anita went to be with the Lord on Nov. 15, 2008. Anita Joy graduated from Snowflake High School in 1955. She married Jim Goucher on June 8, 1956; they made their home in Show Low. They had three children, Vickie, Rickey and Christy. They divorced, and Anita Joy eventually married Scott Barr in 1967. Anita and Scott relocated to Thatcher in the summer of 1974. She divorced him in 1977. Anita Joy was a homemaker and landlord of several rentals. She enjoyed family get-togethers, reunions, horse races, playing cards, watching the Suns games and dancing. But most of all, she enjoyed her children, 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, James Reidhead; and son Rickey Goucher. Anita is survived by her two daughters, Vickie (Terry) Barr of Tucson and Christy (Jimmy) Maltos of Thatcher; three brothers, Odell (Juanita) Reidhead, Leroy (Patricia) Reidhead, both of Show Low, and George Reidhead of Springerville; one sister, Sandra Noble, also of Show Low; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 21, at the LDS Church at 1 p.m. Anita is interred at the Thatcher City Cemetery.
