Prescott Evening Courier, Prescott, Arizona May 25, 1921, page 1, column 2 John C. Forrest Dies Suddenly At Hot Springs Former Deputy County Attorney Here Under R. E. Morrison; Lived in Prescott Thirty Years John C. Forrest, formerly deputy county attorney of Yavapai county under Robert E. Morrison and until recent years a resident of Prescott, was found dead in the pool at Castle Hot Springs this morning. Mr. Forrest lived in this city for about 30 years, and in 1907 was appointed deputy county attorney by Robert E. Morrison. He held this position for two years, later making his home in Phoenix, where, at the time of his death he was one of the deputy county attorneys of Maricopa county. Aged 55 years, the deceased is survived by a widow and one son in Phoenix and by a brother-in-law, W. W. Elliott, in this city. -------------------------------- Transcriber's note: Mr. Forest is buried at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona in an unmarked grave. His second wife, Anna, infant daughter and son John, Jr. are all buried next to him, all in unmarked graves.
