The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 04/21/2015 Angela Maria Gonzales Borrego, 77, died peacefully in her home April 16, 2015, in Claypool. She was born June 9, 1937, in Johnstown, Colo. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Angela’s home and heart were always open to everyone around her. She possessed many wonderful talents including a love of quilting and sewing, gardening, cooking and serving those around her. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a mission for her church in Texas. Angela cherished being a mother and grandmother. Having a large posterity was one of her greatest joys and blessings. Angela is survived by her brother, Manuel (Anita) Gonzales; sister Louise (Henry) Gallegos; daughters Monica (Thad) Webb and Dona (Brent) Tuttle, Valerie; sons Aaron, James (Temberly), Ezra (Tenney), Marie Cool; David (Heather), Benjamin (Stephanie) Marie Cool and 49 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren. She was also known as mother to countless others in her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald David Borrego. A public viewing will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday April 24, from at the LDS Downtown Chapel 300 N. 11th St., in Show Low. An additional public viewing will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 25, at the Claypool LDS Chapel 4247 E.
