Mystery Surrounds Death

Yuma, Ariz., Aug. 17--County authorities are investigating the mysterious circumstances surrounding the recent sudden death by poisoning of John Newman of Yuma. Newman was found dead, with a note beside the body. The note was almost unintelligible, but was taken to mean that his wife was innocent. An analysis of the stomach showed death was caused by cyanide poisoning.
