Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor, Arizona Marilyn Goclanney (June 2, 1941 - April 23, 2015) Marilyn (Meade) Goclanney entered eternal rest April 23rd, 2015. She was born June 2nd, 1941 to Clarence and Rena (Patten) Meade. My mom was very dedicated church going woman who enjoying youth rallies, loved cleaning her house, cooking and visiting family members and grandchildren. She also loved joking, laughing with friends and we all loved to tease her and call her Marilyn Monroe. Marilyn is survived by her Daughters: Alvina (DR) Gregg, Dorthea Truax and Almira Truax; Sisters: Marylita Smith, Ester Scott, Reina Dillion-(Joseph), Abbie Meade, Deloris Alsenay, Doris Meade and Dorothy Ann Garcia; Brothers: Larry Meade (Ruth), Leslie Meade and David Rivers; 15 Grandchildren and 17 Great- Grandchildren; Goddaughter: Claudia Ethelbah; plus many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her Husband: Hubert Goclanney Sr.; Brothers: Bernard Meade and Baxter Meade; Son: Albert Truax; Parents: Clarence Meade Sr. and Rena Patten Meade. A wake for Marilyn will be held Thursday, April 30th, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at 902 S. Sage Ave. Whiteriver, Arizona (Dark Shadow House #185). Her funeral will be held Saturday, May 2nd, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at the Riverside Church in East Fork, Interment will follow at Mission View Cemetery.
