Arrangements by Hampton Funeral Home. ~~~~~~~~~ The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Sunday, May 03, 2015 Phyllis A. Troutt 92, of Prescott, Arizona passed away peacefully in Prescott on April 25, 2015. She was born in Los Angeles, California to Clara and Floyd Swanson. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband "Jiggs" in 1998. She is survived by her brother Robert Swanson (Barbara) of Ventura, California; two daughters Judy Jackson (Chuck) and Barbara McKinney (Steve) both of Prescott. She also had five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter and one on the way. Phyllis worked and retired from Port Hueneme SeaBee base. When she retired, she was the Administrator of CECOS. Phyllis moved to Prescott in 1998 and volunteered over 13 years at Yavapai Regional Medical Center. She spent time in the emergency room, gift shop, courtesy cart driver and the imagining department. For all of her work she was awarded the Sandy Zinn-Martin award in 2003 and in 2006, she was the YRMC Volunteer of the year. The family of Phyllis would like to send a special thanks to Granite Mountain Hospice, and especially Melissa Jones RN, for the care and compassion of our mother. One of Phyllis' favorite things was the Prescott Meals on Wheels program so in lieu of flowers please send donations in Phyllis' name to Meals on Wheels, 1280 E. Rosser St., Prescott, AZ 86301.
