In the 1980s, Herb came west to check out Prescott, Arizona and permanently moved here with his wife in 1990. Herb was also a lifelong Red Sox fan and especially enjoyed the comments of many here in the Prescott area who greeted him enthusiastically upon seeing him around town in his Boston Red Sox cap.
