FULMER, Bettie Bell

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona, November 10, 2005 Bettie Bell Fulmer, 79, of Overgaard, Arizona passed away on November 7, 2005. She was born January 3, 1926 in Otis, Colorado. Bettie grew up in Independence, Oregon with her three siblings and parents, Earl and Sybil Henry. During World War II, she worked in the shipyard as a welder in Portland, OR. After the war, she met and married her husband Frank in 1946 in Independence. They moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1957 and retired to Overgaard in 1981. Bettie passed on her love of reading to her children and grandchildren and left a legacy of beautiful quilts. Bettie is survived by her husband, Frank Fulmer of Overgaard and their children, Lynn (Michelle) Fulmer of Chandler, Greg Fulmer of Quincy, IL, Christy (Don) Basile, Kim (Harvey) Johnson and Shannon (Bill) Cusimano all of Phoenix; 11 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 12, 2005 at the First Southern Baptist Church in Overgaard. Interment will be in the Show Low Cemetery.
