GILL, William Lester (Bill)

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Friday, May 01, 2015 On Saturday, April 25, 2015, William Lester Gill passed away at the age of 84. His beloved wife of 58 years Mary Jane passed away in February. It is said that the best thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother, and Bill loved his wife well everyday and took great care of her through her long illness. His example of love and care lives on through their children: son Peter, wife Merry, and their children Stephanie and Roy Fussell, and Lydia and Brandon Courcy; their daughter, Dr. Kathy Gill; their son Michael, wife Maria, and their children Brian, Stephen and Amy; their daughter Mary, husband Michael Staples, and their daughter Mia. Bill served his country in the Army in Germany during 1954 and 1955. He then went on to a long career in sales, marketing and management in the air conditioning and heating field. In 1999, Bill and Mary Jane moved from Des Moines, Iowa to Prescott, Arizona where they were active members of their church and community. Information provided by survivors.
