Grossi Born April 22, 1918, in Lenola, Italy, David Grossi passed away on May 1, 2015 in the wonderful care of Prescott Nursing and Rehab Center and Canyon River Community Hospice. He was 97 years old. David and his family emigrated to the U.S.A. in 1921, and resided in Roxbury, Massachusetts until he married the love of his life Eva Miola, on April 6, 1940. They were together 67 years. He was proud to honorably serve his country in WWII as a rifleman in the campaigns of the Rhineland and Central Europe, entering at Normandy and leaving from Italy. When he returned home to civilian life, they lived in the Boston area, where he was employed as a machinist until his retirement. Eva and David moved to Prescott, Arizona in 1999. He will be missed by many friends and family. Survivors include his sister Elda; son Pasquale Grossi and wife Donna of Prescott, Arizona; three grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. No services are planned. He will be interred at Mountain View Cemetery with his beloved wife. Donations can be made in his name to either the Yavapai Humane Society or United Animal Friends. Arrangements were entrusted to Sunrise Funeral Home. Information provided by survivors.
