The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Tuesday, May 05, 2015 Grace T. Myers, 22 days shy of her 99th birthday, gently passed into the arms of Jesus the morning of May 1, 2015. Amazing Grace, to all who knew her, was born May 23, 1916, to William and Blanche Thomas in Sharon, Pennsylvania. She moved with her family to Arizona in 1962 and to Prescott in 2001. She enjoyed the past eight years in the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Joe Stratford, enjoying her garden, her family and friends, bridge games and her beloved Phoenix Suns as their most loyal fan. Grace was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, William; her son Richard; her parents; and four sisters, Helen, Esther, Corrine and Betty. She is survived by her brother Bill Thomas (Betty) of Venice, Florida; her daughters Susan Stratford (Joe) of Prescott and Deborah Myers of Phoenix; grandchildren Ryan Robbins (Melanie), Stephane Shirk (Brent), Greg Schultz (Daniela), Chris Furrow (Erin) and Robert Robbins III (Laura). Also survived by six great-grandchildren, Phoebe and Bella Robbins, Lucas and AW Schultz, Sophia and Ireland Furrow; and two yet unborn. Services for the family will be private. "How blessed is the tie that binds our hearts in lasting love, the comradeship of kindred minds is like to that above, so when at last we have to part in sorrow and in pain, we know we still are joined in heart until we meet again."
