The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Friday, May 08, 2015 Ronald S. Makinson of Mayer passed away on Friday, April 24, 2015. He was 65 years old. Ronald was born on Jan. 23, 1950 in Grass Valley, California to Glennie Ted and Essie Viola Makinson. He attended Mayer High School. Ronald was a loving husband, father, Papa and uncle. He brought laughter and joy to everyone and he loved taking care of his grandchildren. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and one sister. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Terri of Mayer; his sons, Patrick (Marilynn) of Mayer, Tristan (Crystal) of Mayer and Ronald Scott of Ohio; his daughters Shalyn (Brian) of Mayer and Katrina (Mike) of Arizona; his sister, Sandra (Ken) of Prescott; and seven grandchildren. A celebration of Ronald's life will be at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Patrick and Marilynn Makinson, 16534 White Rock Lane, Mayer.
