The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 05/29/2015 Cheryl Yvonne Ellis Rawlins, 44, died Monday, May 25, 2015, in Springerville. She was born Jan. 29, 1971, in Albuquerque, N.M., the daughter of Clinton Ellis and Linda Ruth Switzer Ellis. Cheryl worked as a restaurant server for 29 years and at the hospital for the last three years. She was crazy about her family. She was in love with her husband and so proud of her children and granddaughter. Cheryl had a big, generous heart. She loved to cook and feed people. She was a great cook. She loved to help people and to read. She loved the water and swam like a fish. Cheryl had unconditional love for everyone; she never wanted to see anyone be alone. Cheryl is survived by her parents; husband Samuel Vern Rawlins; son Levi Roy Tucker of New Mexico; daughter Jessica Lynn Gustin of Springerville, and Jessie’s daughter, Vivian Yvonne Tenise Gustin; step-children Shelby Rawlins and Noah Rawlins; brothers Clint Ellis, Brian Ellis and Chris Ellis; sisters Nancy Ellis, April Reeder, Anna Marcum, Cassie Ellis, Sarah Ellis and Lana Ellis; nine nieces and six nephews; and eight great-nieces and nephews.
