Alice Omey, 98, of Prescott passed away May 25, 2015. She was born Jan. 6, 1917, in New Bedford, Massachusetts, to Joaquin and Beatrice (Sereja) Pragana.
She attended high school in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Alice volunteered her time at the hospital being a long time "pink lady" and received the honorary lifetime membership for many years of service and dedication to the hospital.
She is survived by her daughters, Judith Cotterall of Prescott, Elaine Leiher of Avondale, Carol Bardell of Goodyear; brother Octavio Pragana of New Bedford; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren, who all called her G.G.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. on June 2, 2015 at Phoenix National Cemetery, Cave Creek, Arizona.
