Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona, Tuesday, June 02, 2015 Trina Alvarado Vasquez, 90, of Globe, Ariz. entered into rest on Sunday, May 24, 2015 in Globe. Trina grew up in Globe in the Buena Vista area. She was married to John Vasquez for nearly 60 years. In their younger days, you could find them at any of the local dances at the Knights of Columbus, dancing to the music of their nephew Eddie Vasquez and his band, or at the casino when you couldn’t find them at home. Trina loved to cook and especially liked cooking on holidays, making special treats for family and neighbors. She was a loyal Globe Tiger fan to the end and recently a dedicated ASU football fan. She could have easily run for office as she knew everybody, and everybody knew her. She loved spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren. Trina was loved, and will be deeply missed by all who she touched in her long, beautiful life. Left behind in loving memory: her daughters, Doreen (Frank) Rennhak, Anita (David) Loper, and Evonne (Ray) Hernandez; her sister, Rojelia “Hela” Canizales of California; grandchildren, Julee Spencer, Eric Ducharme, and Julian Guerrero, great grandchildren, Sabyn Spencer Powell, Derrick Norris, Justin Spencer and soon to arrive great, great grandson, Ryder Powell and many, many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, John G. Vasquez; five brothers and one sister. Services for Trina will be as follows: Visitation at 9 a.m. on Friday, June 5, 2015 at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Globe, Ariz. Rosary at 9:30 a.m. and Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Internment immediately to follow at Globe Cemetery in Globe, Ariz.
