The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 06/16/2015 Lisa Massey died June 10, 2015 in Pinetop. Lisa was born May 2, 1978 in Mesa to Steven and Robin Massey. Lisa was raised in Pinetop, but also lived in South Dakota, Chicago, and Washington. She attended Blue Ridge High School, where she met many lifelong friends. People were drawn to Lisa with her smile, laugh, and witty (although sometimes unfiltered) sense of humor. Lisa would tell you her life began when she had her first child, Jordan. She was blessed with four other amazing children. She believed her reason for life was to be a mother. She fought a hard battle for years, every day, because she loved her children so much. Lisa is survived by her children: Jordan, Sydney, Greer, Braxton; mother Robin Massey; and siblings, Chris, Jill, Kyle, Darbi, and Tyler, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Brilee, father Steven Massey, and nephew Walker Bomar. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, June 18, at the Blue Ridge Christian Center. All who loved Lisa are welcome. The family would like to thank all who have supported them during this tough time. Silver Creek Mortuary of Pinetop handled arrangements.
