Hortensia Brooker, 79, resident of Cottonwood, Ariz., passed away December 25, 2005 in California. She was born in Sonora, Arizona on February 4, 1925 to Merejildo and Hortensia Diaz. Hortensia was a high school graduate and worked in the electronics field most of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, William J. Brooker and she leaves behind her son, William Brooker of El Monte, Calif. Hortensia will be laid to rest with her husband at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, located in Phoenix, Arizona.
