CREIGHTON, Ronald (Ron) P.

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 06/19/2015 Ronald P. Creighton, 80, died June 14, 2015, in Springerville. He was a resident of Alpine for 25 years. He was born in Columbus, Ohio, to Vincent and Eleanor Creighton. He was a loving father and grandfather and was much loved by them. He is survived by his daughter, Erin Creighton, two grandchildren, Ayla and Sierra, and his niece, Jill. Ron was employed by Ohio Bell and AT&T for 35 years before retiring. He was active in several organizations over the years. He had served as secretary of the Alpine Alliance for three years and currently was treasurer of the Tal-Wi-Wi Water Users Association. He was a member of the Rim Country Cruisers Club and had participated in several horse clubs. Ron requested no funeral services be held. A small gathering of friends and neighbors may be held in the future. Ron was an avid nature lover and enjoyed the company of many friends. He loved animals and requested that donations should be made to the Humane Society of the United States of America, his favorite charity.
