QUINN, JR., James Valentine (Jim)

Heritage Funeral Chapel, Peoria, Arizona James Valentine Quinn, Jr. April 14, 1929 ~ June 12, 2015 James Valentine Quinn Jr. passed away surrounded by family on June 12, 2015. James was born on April 14, 1929 in Chicago, IL to James and Alice Quinn. He met his beloved Kathryn in Santa Rosa, NM, and they married on June 7, 1952. Over their 59 years of marriage, they welcomed five daughters. Jim's warmth and humor touched many, serving as a long-time volunteer for the Knights of Columbus, Telephone Pioneers of America, and St. Vincent de Paul. He will always be known for his love of travel and work with the Church. He is preceded in death by his wife and love Kathryn and their babies James III, John and Mary. He is survived by his daughters Jeri Wright, Kathleen Quinn, Patricia and Terry Little, Marie and James Matchette, and Margaret and Ray Kulak, as well as grandchildren Jameson, Katelyn, Kathryn, Matthew, Quinn, John, Sarah, James, and Cristian Quinn. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2015 from 5 to 8pm with a Rosary at 7pm at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W. Thunderbird Road, Peoria, AZ. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 15, 2015 at 11am at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, 3220 W. Greenway Road, Phoenix, AZ. Graveside service will be held at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Albuquerque, NM. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Vincent's Meals on Wheels, 2201 Miramar Street, Los Angeles, CA.
