Henrietta Rodarte, died June 17, 2015 at Samaritan Village in Prescott. She was born March 10, 1924, in Prescott, Arizona, the daughter of Guadalupe and Frances (Espinoza) Gallegos. Henrietta was 91 years old.
Henrietta was beloved by all, especially Gus her husband. Before his death in 2003, they could be found working in the garden he created with her. They hauled the rocks and built the rock fence surrounding their garden together.
Henrietta was the strong foundation of the family. She always provided unconditional love and support of them. She lovingly cared for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren; available at all times to babysit, even Linda's dogs. She sewed all her children's clothes and hosted many wonderful birthday and Halloween parties. She even made Halloween costumes for her great grandchildren. She adored children and animals. She enjoyed doing puzzles with niece, Dolores.
The family would like to thank the kindness and caring shown to their mother and grandmother by the nurses and staff at both YRMC and Samaritan Village.
Henrietta is survived by her daughters, Linda Rodate Francine (Daniel) Lang and Norma D'Alessandro; grandchildren Casey, Daniel and Cory; and great grandchildren; Danielle, Emily and Connor. She is also survived by her brother, Richard Gallegos; numerous nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Amelia Rivas, Mary Duran; and special friends Carolyn Ehrlich and Susan Freeman.
