Martin Jaime Jr. passed away on May 28, 2015. Martin was born in Wickenburg on Dec 13, 1934, and attended Wickenburg High School.
Martin enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1954, and became a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne. He was a trainer of the 101st and 82nd Airborne, and helped train a part of the Green Berets.
Martin married Frances Carter in April 1959, and in the early 1980's he and his friend Bill Watson opened Anita's Cocina. It was re-opened in 1987 and sold to the Hunt family in 1991.
Martin is preceded in death by his father, Martin Jaime Sr., his mother Anita Garcia, two sisters Vera and Michela and his son Joseph.
He is survived by his wife Frances; two sisters, Elodia and Anita; brother Fred Jaime; daughter Janette Kenoyer (Art); cousin Ralph Shipman (Mary); niece Kathy Kensinger; aunts, uncles and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of Martin's life will be held in October.
