She was born April 3, 1930, in Mandan, N.D., to Joseph and Katherine Hoffman. She married Leonard Theis in Glendive, Mont., July 16, 1947. She is survived by her son, James Theis, and daughter Cheryl Dommer; four grandchildren, Tim Rawe, Angie Ngiam, Alex Theis and Sarah Cox; 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jean Yeakel. Private services are being planned by the family. Owens Livingston Mortuary of Show Low handled arrangements.
