The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 07/14/2015 Agripina Pena, 82, died Tuesday, July 7, 2015, in Show Low. She was born Nov. 11, 1932, in St. Johns She was the daughter of Thomas S. and Anita Griego Gurule. Agripina had 11 siblings that were born and raised on the Whiting Ranch. She married Antonio Pena in 1947 and together they had seven children. All throughout her life, Agripina was big-hearted. She loved to dance and entertain family and friends. Agripina is survived by her sons, Mike Pena; Joe Pena, both of Arizona; daughters: Helen Pinela; Caroline Tellez; Pabla Cruz-Trujillo, all from Arizona; brother Eddie Gurule, Arizona; 21 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, son Lorenzo Pena, daughter Patricia Pena and her parents. Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, July 18, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in St. Johns with a funeral mass following at 10 a.m. Interment will follow mass at the St. Johns Catholic Cemetery.
